It's not a need I "feel" but a real requirement I have.

It's called overclocking, and liquid silent cooling is the future.  Because Microsoft has bugs in Visual Studio .net 2005 that cause extremely long delays waiting for it stop sucking up my P4 2.2GHZ CPU at 100% for literally minutes, I must go full bore with hardware otherwise I will not make my deadlines......  I'm not into any of the games these sites are about but I need the power to push through the MS Visual Studio 2005 bottleneck.

I will wait for Apple to announce their MacBook Pro with the new Intel .45 nanometer processors, early in 2008, because no doubt Apple will be one of the first companies to get the processor.  When I get a Mac Book Pro I may try virtualization using www.vmware.com.  But I may try that on my pc if I can get it to work and I still have issues with VS.NET.... So much Windows bloatware on my machine and driver bugs... for example I cant right mouse on network icon and search for computers on my network anymore, because it hangs up explorer... and have to reboot.  I already have looked into an researched the issue with debugging VS.NET apps... what this guy mentions is not related to my issue... it is a known issue I have read, and MS can't fix it... It is caused when you debug a multi-threaded app that uses the System.Reflection namespace to virtualize app domains... it's real messed up CPU runaway thread kinda stuff.... its amazing they can even do what they do.

The following is a machine I am building, and is considered not top of the line, but close to it, without going crazy for the very very latest and greatest CPU and GPU (graphics processor unit).... You could say this is about 6 to 12 months old and would have been the "latest and greatest" back then.

I link many products to ZipZoomFly.com (formely googlegear.com) at my site www.compumagic.com/shop. Their prices are the best for many products, and they carry more products than other companies. ZipZoomFly.com customer support and order turn around time is slow.  They do offer lots of free shipping if you are willing to wait for FedEx Ground.  Regardless, it takes 24 to 48 hours to even have your order shipped, even when in stock.  If you want to pay more, you can always get it shipped faster. Always call ZipZoomFly to confirm your order, about 24 hours after placing it, at 510-739-1890 ext 2100 with your order number.  You will likely get an answering machine, so leave a message, and call again in a few hours to make sure they handle you faster.  First time customers especially, since you must verify your information to prevent credit card fraud.  ZipZoomFly has some of the best prices for computer hardware I have seen.  One good thing besides the prices, is that you can place an order and cancel it within 24 hours, and sometimes even after 48 hours, depending on how fast they are.  This actually can be in your favor if you decide later that you wanted to change your order.
